Lucy’s own horse, Ricardo, sustain a suspensory injury in competition – the chances of recovery were very doubtful. However, with patience and dedication, he is now performing above his previous level and continues his promising future.
We have also rescued a large number of neglected horses, one in particular if not re-homed would be put down. The soles of his feet had worn away to the pedal bone and he was carrying no weight. We rescued him and with lots of care and attention along with working closely with the vent and farrier, the horse made a complete recovery and went on to become a Riding Club level dressage horse.
