Each session is tailored to the horse/pony and its owners ability assessed with Dave Smith. Ideally this is done at Lyneview Farm where progress is usually much faster due to the appropriate environment and facilities.
Lessons or schoolings are based on a ½ hour session and always finish on a good note with the horse/pony able and willing to continue in the next session.
Dave has produced horses and carriage drivers to a competition level including Mary aged 11, who won the Surrey bursary for national and international training.
Nothing is too much of a challenge for Dave with his sympathetic approach he will tutor all levels of horse/pony and owner.
Dave has achieved Runner Up at Windsor with his foundation mare, Megan, presented to him by the Queen. Thompson, Mary’s eldest son, is at national level on style and performance and has won the Welsh Section.
